Goods ordered, left on doorstep, went missing, no refund
I ordered a Samsung tablet from EXTAK 18th Sept. Payment from my account on 19th Sept. Got an Email saying delivery between 30th Sept & 3rd Oct. Not arrived by 1st Oct so as was going on holiday rang to delay delivery until 14th Oct. Took ages to get through on phone, each time loads of waffle then in *** & often after some time sent to voicemail. New delivery instructions left & went on hols. Got back to find Email from Extak stating dispatched on 3rd Oct. Phoned them again (several calls before got through) to be told UPS, the carriers, Had ignored delivery instructions, item had been left on doorstep & they,Extak, would investigate & get back to me. Two weeks & several unsuccessful phone calls later, made due to no response from them, I finally got them to agree to a refund. I then got an Email stating they could not refund my money & I have to create a grievance via my bank. EXTAK are an abolute joke of a company. They take no notice of instruction then try to blame someone else. They neither return phone calls as promised, nor reply by Email. Then to top it off, it would appear from yet another protracted phone call to them ref the Email about my refund, their bank accounts may be frozen & they can't operate without using a third party bank to accept customer payments who the will not pass on the money to Extak. AVOID this company at all cost. If you need to buy a new tablet etc use Amazon. They at least deliver.
